University accommodation is usually for first year undergraduates only and contracts are for 37. This includes a meal plan for 14 meals a week taken at our refectory on campus, usually taken as breakfast and dinner.

Undergraduate Entry Requirements:
St Mary’s accepts the Diplomă de Bacalaureat with an overall grade of 6 out of 10 (2017 entry), although some of our undergraduate degrees may require an interview or that you to have studied specific subjects as part of your curriculum.
For English language we accept the following:

Postgraduate Entry Requirements:
St Mary’s accepts applications from students who have completed their undergraduate degree at a Romanian university. As a general guide, we usually accept grades of 8.0 and above for entry onto most of our postgraduate degrees, but certain degrees require specific subjects as part of your undergraduate modules.
For English we accept the following:
EU students non-EU students who do not need a visa can take the standard IELTS test.
Non-EU students who need a Tier 4 visa must take the UKVI-IELTS test for their visa requirements.

Pre-sessional English Language Programme
For students who take the IELTS test but do not meet the conditions of their offer, we do offer Pre-sessional English Language Programmes designed for them to meet our requirements.
For students who do not meet their IELTS requirements by 0.5 there is a 6 week Pre-sessional English Language Programme: 24/07/17 – 08/09/2017.
For students who do not meet their IELTS requirements by 1.0 there is an 11 week Pre-sessional English Language Programme: 26/06/17 – 08/09/2017
Undergraduate application timetable
1 September 2016 UCAS opens for applications for 2017 entry.
15 January 2017 Deadline for UK and EU applications to be automatically considered.
30 June 2017 Final UCAS deadline for courses which still have places before Clearing. Applications received after 30 June will be entered into Clearing.
5 July 2017 UCAS Clearing Opens.
13 July 2017 Deadline for universities to respond to applications received by 30 June 2017.
20 September 2017 The final date UCAS can accept an application for an undergraduate course starting in 2017.
20 October 2017 The last date to add a Clearing choice on UCAS and the last date a university can accept an application through Clearing.
Postgraduate application timetable
Our application form remains live throughout the year. We begin considering applications for September 2017 entry from September 2016.
There is no formal deadline for applications, but applications for a course will close when that course becomes full. Applications for some courses may close during the Spring, so students are advised to submit their application by the end of February if possible.
We do consider applications for courses where there are still spaces until September 2017.
