Nottingham Trent University

Nottingham Trent University is one of the biggest and most popular universities in the UK with over 27,000 students. Nottingham is a famous ‘student city’ with two universities ranked in the Top 40 institutions in the UK. It is also a creative city with a lively nightlife and cultural scene. The cost of living is low and the central location enables students to easily explore the rest of the UK (London is only 1 hour 45 mins by train).
Art and Design has an international reputation for excellence and NTU is consistently ranked in the top 10 creative universities in the UK. Fashion Design, championed by Nottingham-born designer Sir Paul smith is highly regarded with many students winning top awards in competitions such as Graduate Fashion Week. 
Nottingham Business School has been accredited by AACSB placing it in the top 5% of business schools worldwide. It offers a wide range of professional courses in management, accounting, finance, economics and marketing with significant industry placement opportunities at both undergraduate and masters level. 
Nottingham Law School is the second largest law school in the UK and offers qualifying law degree awards including LLB, LLM, GDL and BPTC. The department has two law court facilities for mooting and practical learning, and an award–winning Legal Advice Centre open to the public that enables students to gain experience.  
Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences are taught at the beautiful Brackenhurst campus. This rural estate is the perfect environment for learning about animal sciences, conservation, earth sciences and geography. Facilities include an international standard equestrian centre with indoor and outdoor riding arenas and veterinary nursing centre.
Architecture and the Built Environment includes the RIBA accredited BArch and MArch awards, and the only architectural technology course in the UK to receive triple accreditation. NTU itself has won numerous construction and design awards for campus buildings and accommodation.
Arts and Humanities enable students to combine traditional subjects such as languages, communications, philosophy, history, international relations and media. The department is also home to the Centre for Broadcasting and Journalism with many graduates working for major networks such as Sky and BBC.  
Science and Technology has a strong reputation for teaching and research including two pioneering cancer research centres at Clifton campus. Modern laboratories for students studying bioscience, chemistry, physics, forensics, software engineering, computer networking and security. 
Social Sciences are based at the City campus and cover a range of accredited degrees in Psychology, Criminology, Sociology, International Relations and Politics. The Institute of Education offers teacher training programmes at all levels.
