Anyone who has seen the sunset over the Cardigan bay from the window of the dormitory, will recognize that this is one of the most impressive places where they could spend three years of their life. Established in 1872 Aberystwyth University is the oldest university in Wales and currently offers more than 900 BSc or MSc study programs. National Library of Wales, adjacent to the main campus of the university, is one of the largest libraries in the world and one of only five copyright libraries in the UK.
The University offers a range of programs with a single or double major, as well as combination of primary and secondary expertise, who favors students who focus on a new step in their educational career and personal development. Starting from faculty history, some of its classes reflect traditional academic disciplines, but others offer new and unique combinations, many programs being multidisciplinary.
Aberystwyth University offers a range of academic programs well balanced in terms of three faculties: Arts, Social Sciences and Sciences. In addition, university funding policy for EU students is one of the most affordable in the UK. During their studies, students have the opportunity to pursue an internship corresponding to the chosen major. Usually this stage is conducted between year two and year three and duration varies from one week to 12 months.

Scholarships
Academic Excellence Studentship. Students who achieve specific grades and hold Aber as their Firm choice will be awarded £2.000 in their first year of study.
Entrance Scholarship and Merit Award exam. Entrance Scholarship and Merit Awards are awarded on the basis of your performance in two 1.5-hour exams set by the University and can be held for any degree scheme. All scholars are given the opportunity to live in a University residence throughout their time as an undergraduate student. Scholarships are worth up to £2.000 a year.
Aberystwyth Bursary. Applicants from the EU whose household income is £35.000 or lower will be entitled to receive £500 a year towards their living costs.
